Going Beyond Part Numbers
Posted on 05 September 2015
If you've shopped for diesel parts online, you know the drill. Call a store, begin asking questions about a part and you'll be interrupted with, "What's the part number?" At Street Diesel Power, part numbers are something we use to order products - not how we discuss building your truck.
In fact, when you call, we want to know everything about your Cummins, Duramax or Powerstroke. What is done to it so far, how you use it and where you want to take it. Tell us what your short and long-term goals are for the truck. We want to recommend products to meet your budget - not parts forced upon you by a sales manager's quota. Or a manufacturer's rebate. That is not how we do business.
A part number lacks understanding and experience with diesel performance. There is no depth to it. No recommendation. As consumers, you deserve better. We have talked to and helped thousands of diesel owners. From mild builds to complete race trucks. Each build had a goal, not defined by us, but by the truck owner.
And that is what we focus on - the truck owner. Give us a call, experience the Street Diesel Power difference. Let's make your truck run how you want, not what a part number's description highlights.
